Grading Policy

1.       Homework                                 20%

2.       Lab/ activities                          20%

3.       Quizzes                                     20%

4.       Tests                                         40%

Miscellaneous:

·     Place homework on desk at the start of each class then copy homework from board.

·     It is your responsibility to secure missing notes and assignments when you are absent. Please check with a friend for missed class notes then pick up any missed handouts from the bin at the back of the class. See me if you have further questions.

·     Missed assignments as a result of absenteeism will be due the day after you return unless pre-arranged with the teacher.

·     Late homework due to negligence will result in a loss of 10 points per day late.

·     All work must have a proper heading for full credit:

a.       First and last name.

b.       Date of assignment.

c.        Science: chapter, section, page number’s & question #’s

*Reminder:  New text books will not be issued until the previous one is turned in.
